I am Johanna Clausen-Meixner, born on May 4th, 1971, in Laubach, Hessen. I am a mother of a daughter and a son and currently live in Hamburg. I hold a degree in Communication Studies, and I am a communications coach and trainer, as well as a ThetaHealing Master with a Certificate of Science and a Reiki Master.
For over 25 years, I have been advising and teaching in the field of communication. My focus is on appreciative, clear, intercultural, and goal-oriented communication that enables individuals and organizations to convey their messages authentically and effectively. I have worked with a wide range of industries – from classic advertising, media, and industry to technology, education, and public institutions, as well as creative and sustainable start-ups.
I particularly enjoy combining proven methods with innovative approaches to develop individual and tailored solutions. This enables precise yet empathetic communication that builds bridges and has a lasting impact.
I teach and coach in the fourth generation and cherish the values I learned from my grandfather, Theo Clausen , who introduced basketball to Germany in 1947. For him, compassion, creativity, dedication, and joy in what one does were the driving forces of life. Sometimes, unconventional paths can lead to a goal more efficiently than standard methods. One of his students, Holger Geschwindner, later coached Dirk Nowitzki into the NBA.
Professional experience and teaching
The courage to create your own paths, to think outside the box,
to promote individual strengths and see failures as an opportunity
for learning and further development and – to have fun.
also characterizes my coaching.
